Qualifications

We are the only company of this type with in-house staff who are dually qualified as both Actuaries and Independent Financial Advisers in each of the UK and abroad (please see the CV’s under ‘Our Team’ for more information). Please note that our Actuarial input in the UK is provided strictly in a financial advisory capacity.

Our UK team also has a number of staff with the ‘G60’ qualification which is a regulatory requirement in the UK for providing specialist pension transfer advice.

Further, our affiliates abroad have been selected as they have the highest possible financial advisory qualifications, through each of their offices.

Experience

We have dealt with hundreds of emigrants and hundreds of UK pension schemes (company and personal). Our specialists each have approximately 15 years' financial experience across the UK Australian and New Zealand markets, including high level roles in major financial companies.

We arrange for all our clients to have free, no obligation, financial assessment in the destination country (on the back of undertaking any of our services in the UK) to ensure you maximise the opportunities available to you following your arrival.

Helpful And Understanding

With our offices comprising UK, Australian and NZ nationals and emigrants, we have a team that has gone through the migration process themselves and understands your issues. This lends itself to further helpful advice being provided on issues like schooling, housing, cost of living etc, just based on our own experiences. Further, to ensure you are completely comfortable after our initial meeting, we maintain an open phone line policy for our clients, where you are able to contact us at any time, without charge, with any associated questions you may have relating to the work we are undertaking on your behalf.

No Hidden Fees

All our services are offered for a fixed price, with all fees and charges disclosed up front. There are no hidden charges at all, on any of our services.

Timely

Having teams of qualified staff on the ground at either end, allows us to complete our services extremely efficiently. This is of vital importance where for example time limits are involved in pension work (eg 6 months rule), to ensure any potential complications are sorted out. With a sizeable team based in the UK, we have an on the ground presence and are not caught out by time zone differences.

Independent and Impartial

We are fully regulated, licenced and operate fully independently in the UK and have ensured that all our affiliates (who are independent, licenced and regulated) in Australia and New Zealand provide advice on the same basis and to the same high standards. We maintain Professional Indemnity Insurance and operate under a strict code of operating conduct.
